UUSS Families with Children: Family Faith Development UU Summer Camp in a Box is coming your way! Since we are unable to be together in person, we wanted you to have some fun things to do together as a family, to explore and grow your UU faith. You should be receiving a package via postal mail in the next week or so with lots of materials to work on these together. If you use Facebook and want to post pictures of yourselves or your completed projects in our church group, please do!
We will be sending out two boxes over the course of the summer with which we’ll be exploring the 7 Principles, and ourselves. The first box will contain such things as the makings for a home chalice (be on the lookout in your recyclables for a small’ish glass jar to use to contain your chalice “flame”). The box will also contain a gratitude journal with prompts to help kids look for ways we feel grateful–it can be a meaningful spiritual practice. We’ll be including instructions and explanations of meanings for the projects in the boxes. There will be other fun projects coming too, but we don’t want to ruin the surprise! When your family receives the box, please take some time to go through. it and work on the projects with your children. There will be one box per family with children, with enough supplies for the number of children in each household. If you find you need any additional supplies, just let us know.
Show and Tell and Check-in for children up to 5th grade–the next one is scheduled for this Wednesday, 7/15: A fun, informal time for us to be together and chat, share something special from home, and check in and enjoy each other’s company. Wednesdays, every other week, at 10:30. Here’s the link for this week’s:

2019-2020 RE Survey: Thank You, Thank You to those who have completed surveys! They’re providing lots of useful information to help us plan for RE. If you haven’t already completed the survey, please take a moment to do so now. It’ll only take a few minutes of your time and will help us better serve your children and youth (and maybe you!) in the coming year! Note: I neglected to allow spaces for families with more than one child participating in RE–if you have more than one child, please enter additional information at the bottom where we ask if there’s anything else you’d like us to know. Please also use this space to indicate if you’d like to volunteer to be a part of RE this coming year, either in an ongoing basis or for a single event like our monthly Children’s Chapel, Story Time, or facilitating a virtual game with our
