As summer quickly approaches, please know that your UUSS staff is hard at work preparing some fun summer surprises. To start with, we’ll continue Story Time for Youngin’s for the next couple of weeks, then we’ll segue into Show and Tell and Check-in for children up to 5th grade, along with monthly Children’s Chapels for grades K-5. There will be some other fun things happening around faith formation, but that’s still under wraps for now!
Also know that we are currently forming a task force to begin planning what RE might look like this fall. We know it will be virtual, and we will be exploring fun and meaningful ways for children and youth to engage and learn more about our world and about our UU faith. Re-imagining RE! If you have suggestions, please share them with me via
email at dlre@uuschenectady.org or call (607) 435-2803.
Story Time for Youngin’s takes place on Tuesdays at 6:30 pm. It runs about 30 minutes and is geared toward younger children as they prepare for dream land. Our guest readers this week are Joel and Noah Best! Click here to attend this fun event:
