Inspired by the words of Robin Wall Kimmerer and her book Braiding Sweetgrass.  She calls to all of us living here on turtle island with colonial ancestry to become indigenous to this place, not by taking on ceremonies of First Peoples who are still here but by connecting both to our own ancient indigenous roots and paying attention to the plants and animals that co-habitate this ground with us.
