Sunday, November 13th, 2-4 p.m. UUSS will show the Netflix film “13th” followed by a discussion led by Jamaica Miles, of Citizen Action. “13th” is a documentary about the 13th Amendment which freed the slaves from plantations, but at the same time provided slave labor via the prison system and began the mass incarceration of African Americans that continues today.
