On Wednesday 2/7, there will be a march and rally in conjunction with the hearing on environmental funds to be included in the NYS budget. NY Renews, a statewide environmental organization, is inviting the public to attend the hearing briefly at 9:30 AM in Hearing Room B of the Legislative Office Building. After leaving the LOB there will be a rally. After lunch there will be a march to the capitol to deliver a 7 billion dollar “check” to governor Cuomo representing the amount of money NYS could receive in funds through increased economic activity and fees from polluters, if the act were implemented.
