Dear UUSS Community~As spring greens and blooms all around, we are so grateful for all that is growing and blossoming within the congregation. Thank you to those who attended and participated in the congregational meeting, receiving updates and reports from your Treasurer, Pat Lillquist, Board president, Mindy Whisenhunt and your co-ministers; electing trustees to the Board, (congratulations, Bridget Almas and Dan Leonard;) and hearing about the Wake Now our Vision matching fund campaign for planned giving.

Thanks to all those participated in and attended the last two Sunday’s worship services, created by youth and advisors in Coming of Age and the Senior Youth Group. We appreciate that there are multigenerational worship services throughout the year, as those are opportunities to weave worship with and for people of many ages on a regular basis.

The next three Sundays are opportunities for full community worship: this coming weekend with guest Susan Frawley, June 3rd when we’ll recognize UUSS’ newest members as well as those with 25 and 50 years of membership, and June 10th for flower communion, (bring a flower or several to share,) followed by a congregational picnic.

And, know that you matter to us… let us know if you are in need of support, or just say hello after worship.
