Religious Education This Week – January 15th

Religious Education this week

This Saturday, 1/19, there is a special event planned for adults and
youth of the congregation from 12-3:30pm (see “Deeper Dive” in this issue
of Circuits for details).  There’s also some special fun planned for
children 10 and under in the nursery during this time.  If you’d like
your older child to be able to sign out on their own (and remain in the
building!), childcare providers will have permission slips available on
Saturday–be sure to fill one out and sign it when you drop them off.

This coming Sunday, 1/20, K/1 Children will go directly to their
classroom for a full-session class.  Children in grades 2-8 will head
directly to the second floor of Waters House for Children’s Chapel.
And, Sr Youth will go directly to their meeting room for a full-session
class. And as always, children and youth are welcome to be in worship if that is a better fit for your family.

There are always lots of great volunteer opportunities available in RE:
substituting for a teacher, helping out with the monthly Sr Youth
activity, perhaps leading or helping out with a Children’s Chapel, among
many others.  If you’re interested or have any questions, please contact
Director of Lifespan Religious Education Robin Ahearn at (607) 435-2803
or  dlre@uuschenectady.org.
