SUMMARY:Zentangle: The Art of Meditative Line and Pattern Drawing
DESCRIPTION:Speaker: Linda Fasano\, Certified Zentangle Teacher \nLinda Fassano came to Zentangle (the art of meditative line and pattern drawing) in 2019. During the pandemic\, she joined a weekly Zentangle club via Zoom\, grew to love the art and felt the draw (pun intended!) of Zentangle. Soon thereafter\, she took the seminar to become a Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT) and hasn’t looked back. As a career educator\, and now a CZT\, Linda loves sharing this fulfilling process and art form. — All who identify as women are invited to join the adventure of learning and exploring Zentangle and becoming an artist in your own right! \nWe will serve coffee\, tea\, and dessert before the program. We urge you to arrive by 6:30 pm for time to socialize before the program begins at 7 pm. Following the presentation\, there will be time for questions. Networking (when each person may share something of interest with the group) will begin around 8:15\, and the meeting will end no later than 9 pm. \nWhile reservations are not required\, in order to have some idea of how many people to expect\, please RSVP by emailing Gabrielle Reals by Tuesday\, May 26\, to let us know you are coming. (If you forget to do this\, we urge you to come anyway!) Those who have subscribed may attend the in-person meetings for free. All others will be asked to contribute $5 toward our costs\, at the door. \nTo see the full calendar of EBWA programs for 2025-2026\, click here. \nLooking ahead: Our June 11th program will be a Field Trip to the Albany Underground Railroad Education Center. Watch Circuits for more information in early June.

SUMMARY:UUSS Congregation Pot Luck Picnic at Little Troy Park
DESCRIPTION:We will be meeting at Little Troy Park\, 25 Old Stage Road\, Ballston Lake\, on Sunday 7/26/26 at 1pm. \nThe park has a pond with a beach\, lifeguards\, waterslide\, buoys separating shallow and deep waters\, and floating dock in the deep end. There is a playground and a walking trail around the pond and volleyball court. (Unfortunately\, dogs are not allowed.) There is a changing area and bathroom. There are lots of picnic tables. \nThose coming might like to bring beach gear: chair\, towels\, sunscreen\, etc. UUSS will bring pizza\, water\, and juice\, and if you’d like to contribute\, please consider bringing a side or dessert to share. RSVP here so we can plan accordingly or if any questions arise. \nIt is going to be a beautiful day for a picnic and swim! \nAny questions?
