Co-Ministers’ Colloquy – March 15th

As this year’s Stewardship season has begun, we have been thinking of the generous, creative, courageous, and gracious ancestors who have shaped this congregation with their presence and participation.
We remember. We remember with gratitude. We remember with gratitude and humility.
Their stories are in the walls, in our bones, in the atmosphere. Their stories are in the touch of a calloused hand, in the melody of songs we hum while washing dishes, in remembered faces.
Their stories and memories are part of a chorus that call us into becoming the congregation we are yet to be. We are each and we are all a part of this congregation’s story. What will the next pages say about who we are?
Be part of writing the next chapter. Come to worship! Come to religious education! Come to Celebration Sunday on March 27!
With anticipation,
Rev. Lynn & Rev. Wendy
P.S. This past Sunday we had hoped to include a visit from the UU superheroes, Flame Dame & Chalice Man, in worship. Unfortunately, the technology did not cooperate, but we are still able to share their message with everyone! Here’s the link to the Stewardship resources and information, please scroll down a bit and you can watch their video and others will be posted as time permits: https://uuschenectady.org/affinity-groups/stewardship/.
Together, let’s nurture the flame!
