On Sunday, Feb. 9th, UUSS held a Special Congregational Meeting. There was a quorum with over 70 members present. There was a joyous and unanimous vote to ordain Viola Abbitt into Unitarian Universalist Ministry! The date for the ordination is Saturday, June 13th in the afternoon. Thank you to all who participated. A number of people have committed to contributing to help cover the cost of travel and honoraria for ordination participants, a gift for the ordinand, etc. Thank you!
