The Reverend Priscilla Richter speaks about our Religious Education Program:
Our children and youth are a continuing source of joy and strength in our congregation. We take seriously the task of providing them a religious education that grounds them in our Unitarian Universalist faith, provides a safe community of all ages that sends the clear message to them that they are loved; and provides paths to spiritual growth and service to the larger community. We are a multigenerational community that engages our several generations in learning, leading, listening and growing together.
We are so grateful for the dynamic leadership of our Director of Religious Education, Melissa MacKinnon, a Credentialed Religious Educator (CRE) of the Unitarian Universalist Association. Our Religious Education Council also takes significant leadership in providing our children youth, and adults with what it means to be in a multigenerational community with a strong message of love and hope.
A true religious education requires so much of all of us--and also gives the whole church avenues of learning, spiritual growth, and service. We are blessed with many collaborative efforts that make this possible.
