Earth Circles at UUSS

In the Steps of the Peacemaker (PEACEMAKER CIRCLES): Monday evening, March 13th at 7pm in the Fireplace Room. Join this Earth Circles’ discussion group to explore the teachings of The Peacemaker, a holy man of the Haudensaunee People who united the Five Nations into a confederacy and brought peace to a land torn by war and distrust. We will meet on the second Monday of the month for 13 months to discuss the tenets of The Peacemaker’s Message and how we can apply them in our own thoughts and actions. Led by Melinda Perrin, certified teacher of the Seneca Indian Historical Society and Wolf Clan Teaching Lodge and author of Under the Roots of the White Pine. (Copies of the booklet will be available for $10, but are not necessary.) This group started in February and only a few openings are available. Register at if you would like to join us or to learn more. Newcomers will meet at 6pm to review the first tenet.

Full Moon Drum Circle
Sunday, March 12, 7-8 pm in the Great Hall. Join Earth Circles as we drum for peace as part of a global event. Bring percussive instruments–some will be available to play. Our circles raise vibration, center and ground us. All are welcome; the more the merrier! Our custom is to share snacks and conversation after we drum.

Spring Equinox
